One does not choose to become a biker…

I did not choose to become a biker, becoming a biker chose me. After the divorce, it seemed like there was no need to carry on, what l thought l wanted wasn’t what l actually wanted at all. Freedom, something that we truly take for granted every day. My first solo trip cross country opened my eyes to a world l felt very comfortable in. Being in the elements, feeling the wind on my face, even passing cattle ranches and the smell of thousands of cattle made me feel free. I didn’t choose this lifestyle, this lifestyle chose me.

Good morning friends.

All my friends, l am the last to toot my own horn, l consider myself a humble man because l believe in what God giveth, God can take away. But every day we should all strive to leave a legacy of our time on this earth. Might it be you were a football, basketball, baseball, track & field star in high school. Maybe you achieved something in your career field that only a hand full have ever achieved, maybe you’ve ran an 8-minute two mile, or did 100 push-ups a personal best. Maybe you climbed the highest mountain or swam the deepest seas. No matter what it is, always strive to be the best at what you chose to do in life. Sometimes it may seem like you are better than others and others may talk about you but don’t ever let that detour you from wanting to be the best at what you believe in or do. Be the best father and leave a legacy to your son or daughter. Never settle for just being average, being the same, walking in someone’s else shoes or in the shadows of other accomplishments. Pave a new path, set a new distance, set the bar so high that the next to come behind you will become legendary themselves achieving that goal and giving others behind them something to strive for. There are true legends in this culture we are a part of, you know who they are. Some don’t ride anymore or about to hand the reins over to the next generation. Always strive to be the best brother or sister you can be, strike the Cain and Able mentality from your mind because we are oath to be our brothers or sisters’ keeper. Never let the accomplishments of another blind you or cause you not to reach your full potential. Pick a goal, achieve it! Pick another goal and achieve that one too! Tomorrow is not promised, how people will remember you is up to you. Leave a legacy, be legendary, be a legend. A SoloMoment
